Natural Remedies ~ a choice you can live with!
Food WarsIn 2008, 180 countries declared that their citizens have a fundamental right to food. Only one country voted against this rudimentary right. Can you guess which country that was?
How can the proclaimed land of the free and home of the brave justify such a mean spirited decision? And is it in the best interests of their citizens or in the best interests of someone else?
Instead the United States made it's intentions perfectly clear and voted against the right to food for it's citizens. There is no right to food in the USA, nor is there any right to food legislation pending. Pretty simple isn't it?
I'm wondering if the USA's refusal to participate in The Universal Declarion of Human Rights provoked the growing grassroots right to food movement and the real food revolution? Is the war on food just beginning to heat up?
In it's simplicity, Article 25 of The Universal Declaration of Human Rights states: "everyone has the right to a standard of living adequate for the health and well-being of himself and of his family, including food."
International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights In article 11, "Governments recognize the right of everyone to an adequate standard of living for himself and his family, including adequate food and the continuous improvement of living conditions."
"Governments are responsible for providing access to adequate food to eliminate hunger, malnutrition and starvation." UN Special Rapporteur on the Right to Food clarified that "the right to have regular, permanent and unrestricted access, either directly or by means of financial purchases, to quantitatively and qualitatively adequate and sufficient food corresponding to the cultural traditions of the people to which the consumer belongs, and which ensure a physical and mental, individual and collective, fulfilling and dignified life free of fear."
Every Human Being Has: (except US citizens)
* the right: to be free from hunger
* the right to adequate food
* the right to clean, safe drinking water
Rome Declaration on World Food Security, 1996.
"None are more hopelessly enslaved than those who falsely believe they are free." ~ Johann Wolfgang von Goethe.
Food security is achieved "when all people, at all times, have physical and economic access to sufficient, safe and nutritious food to meet their dietary needs and food preferences for an active and healthy life"
Do you see any reason why the United States would be against these basic principles of human rights? Maybe if we explore the facts a bit more we'll begin to understand their intentions.
What Is Food?Food is grown. If it's manufactured, then it is false food or a food like substance. According to Wiki Food is any substance or materials eaten or drunk to provide nutritional support for the body or for pleasure. It usually consists of plant or animal origin, that contains essential nutrients, such as carbohydrates, fats, proteins, vitamins, or minerals.
Using this definition much of the false factory food like substances would fail to meet the nutritional support for the body definition, wouldn't it?
Healthy food is either pure, unprocessed, healthy, natural food, without additives, extenders, fillers, coloring, chemicals, pesticides, insecticides, herbicides, steroids, antibiotics, cloning, pasteurization, irradiation or it's a "food-like-substance" and not adequate for natural health.
Lesson To Identify Food
* it is grown and has quality that varies
* it spoils quickly
* will reproduce from seed, spore etc
* can be eaten raw or cooked
* does not have ingredient labels
* flavorful, with rich colors, textures
* ancient traditions include eating this food
Food As A WeaponDuring conflicts food has been used to control populations. It is a powerful motivator. Withholding food from civilian populations intentionally causes starvation. Could food control be used as a depopulation weapon?
See what Professor Poochenstein has to say in this simple presentation.
Food As A Political WeaponThe Ukraine Farmine, of 1932-1933, was not due to natural disasters, droughts, floods or climate changes. It was simple, peacetime genocide. Desgined, directed and planned by Joseph Stalin as a means to subjugate the Ukrainians to Moscow's will.
Starvation was the, "absolutely necessary" tool toward that end, and which claimed the lives of 7,000,000 Ukrainian farmers.
"This was the first instance of a peacetime genocide in history. It took the extraordinary form of an artificial famine deliberately created by the ruling powers.
The savage combination of words for the designation of a crime - an artificial deliberately planned famine - is still incredible to many people throughout the world, but indicates the uniqueness of the tragedy of 1933, which is unparalleled, for a time of peace, in the number of victims it claimed." Wasyl Hryshko - Survivor The Ukrainian Holocaust, 1933
"As many as 7 million Ukrainians were starved in Soviet Socialist dictator Joseph Stalin's artificial, forced famine in Ukraine in 1932 and 1933. This is approximately the total population of Manitoba, Newfoundland, British Columbia, New Brunswick, Saskatchewan, Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward Island." Inky Mark, M. P. Dauphin - Swan River House of Commons 2 June 1998
Stalin lamented: "Oh, no, the Collective Farm policy was a terrible struggle... Ten million [he said, holding up his hands]. It was fearful. Four years it lasted. It was absolutely necessary..."
Bulk Raw Foods
Fight For Food TodayThere is a fight for food sovereignty between industrial food giants, backed by billions of campaign contributions that influence legislation and small farmers struggling to survive. Consumers are squared in the industrial giants cross hairs.
The $50 billion yearly advertising dollars spent by agricultural & pharmaceutical companies who will stop at nothing to have us believe that packaged false foods are worthy of our dollars spent.
What happens when their advertising fails to influence us? Will the powers that be resort to other absolutely necessary tools to protect their financial and corporate interests?
According to Dr Mercola "If you try to purchase a gallon of raw milk in the majority of U.S. states, you could be taken away in handcuffs ~ literally.
With the exception of 10 states that allow retail raw milk sales, and 15 that allow farm sales, purchasing raw milk in the United States is a crime, according to the FDA." Personally, I drink raw goat milk every day and am thankful that my state "allows" me to make my own choices, so far.
What Do Whiskey & Pasteurized Milk Have In Common? The truth will shock you out of drinking conventional milk or eating conventional meat from the US. It will help explain why Big Dairy, backed by tax payer dollars, is desperate to eliminate the superior competition by outlawing raw milk.
FDA's War On Real FoodFarm-to-Consumer Legal Defense Fund recently filed a lawsuit against the FDA over their raw milk ban, claiming that the interstate commerce ban of raw milk is unconstitutional and here is how FDA responded.
"There is no absolute right to consume or feed children any particular food."
"There is no 'deeply rooted' historical tradition of unfettered access to foods of all kinds."
"Plaintiffs' assertion of a 'fundamental right to their own bodily and physical health, which includes what foods they do and do not choose to consume for themselves and their families' is similarly unavailing because plaintiffs do not have a fundamental right to obtain any food they wish."
FDA's brief goes on to state that "even if such a right did exist, it would not render FDA's regulations unconstitutional because prohibiting the interstate sale and distribution of unpasteurized milk promotes bodily and physical health."
"There is no fundamental right to freedom of contract."
Did you catch all of that?
According to the FDA, they have the authority to tell you what you can and can't eat and what you can or can't feed your family and children. We have no right to make contracts without the FDA's permission.
Based on those faulty assumption and flawed logic, the FDA believes thay have the absolute authority to prohibt any food and make it a crime for you to enjoy it.
The FDA villain of the day is raw milk, but tomorrow what will it be? Grass fed beef, raw tomatos, zucchini?

Understand that the FDA intends to destroy small farms, all access to natural raw foods, and they intend to irradiate & kill every piece of healthy, natural food that is available in the United States.
Do you recall that you relenquished your right to food and water selections to the FDA? They claim you never had such rights. Are these actions by accident or design?
Every time we buy false food, GMO's, pasterurized and irradiated dead food we support their tyranny. We still have a choice of how we spend our dollars and we still are able to buy real foods. How long do you think that will last?
What is that quotation about power? Lord Acton ~ The historian and moralist 1887 "Power tends to corrupt, and absolute power corrupts absolutely. Great men are almost always bad men."
The next battle will be the appropriations process in the next session of Congress which will determine how much funding the FDA will get.
"If people let the government decide what food they eat and what medicines they take, their bodies will soon be in as sorry a state as souls under tyranny" ~ Thomas Jefferson

The Real Food RevolutionThis revolution hasn't hit the streets yet, and hopefully it won't, although some believe that our government is trying to provoke riots. Any ideas why they would do that?
Instead this food rights revolution is being fought in back room deals, financed with millions in "campaign contributions" to influence decision makers who can usher in favorable legislation. Here are some of the comments by the players.
"If you put a label on genetically engineered food you might as well put a skull and crossbones on it." - Norman Braksick, president of Asgrow Seed Co., a subsidiary of Monsanto, quoted in the Kansas City Star, March 7, 1994
"Monsanto should not have to vouchsafe the safety of biotech food. Our interest is in selling as much of it as possible. Assuring its safety is the FDA's job." - Phil Angell, Monsanto's director of corporate communications, quoted in the New York Times, October 25, 1998
What Are You Doing For The Healthy Food Movement?
It will take everyone's participation to force the giant corporations to produce what we want. It may take more to convince government that they will not control our access to real food. How do you influence others?
Monsanto And Blackwater? These Industry Giants wouldn't appear to have much in common on the surface. Companies such as Disney, Chevron and Monsanto Contracted with Blackwater for Intelligence, Training and Security Services.
Do you think that Monsanto is getting nervous that people are "confused" about eating food sprayed with their chemicals? And that they hired Blackwater as their public relations team?
In a perfect world, it's always better to eat fresh food right from your garden, which is why the US Government is spending $30,000,000 tax payer dollars to persuade us to eat as much seafood from the Gulf as possible.
Americans just aren't buying it on the promise that it's safe. Our president Obama is encouraging everyone to dig in and eat, eat, eat! Don't you feel comforted knowing that it must be the main item on his dinner table?
Navy Secretary Mabus reaffirmed his commitment to using the tools at his disposal to help the Gulf Seafood Industry recover from the damage the BP oil spill has done in reality and perception.
The board is gearing up for a large-scale national marketing campaign, with $30 million in BP money and millions more in federal dollars, to reassure restaurants and markets across the country that Gulf seafood is safe.
"There is no question gulf seafood coming to market is safe from oil or dispersant residue,"~ FDA Commissioner Margaret A. Hamburg said Oct 29 2010.
Florida-based toxicologist claims "What we have found is that FDA simply overlooked an important aspect of safety in their protocol. It is unethical to experiment with the health of the U.S. population or military members."
So who do you believe? Our President and the FDA or a Toxicologist?

"Intent on flooding Africa with GMO, the USDA, IBM, Gates Foundation and Mars are working on a genetically modified Cacao tree.
Cocoa, or Cacao, is grown principally in West Africa, Central and South America and Asia. In order of annual production size, the eight largest cocoa-producing countries at present are Cote d'Ivoire, Ghana, Indonesia, Nigeria, Cameroon, Brazil, Ecuador and Malaysia.
These countries represent 90% of the world's chocolate production."
"So look out world, the GM conspirators are working on replacing every last normal plant and tree with genetically engineered varieties that will eventually take over our entire planet.
For now, we have a choice. But what happens when all plants and trees are contaminated with genetically modified genes? What happens when we reach the saturation point?
Food and water are things that we cannot live without. When all food is genetically modified and owned by the GM monopolies, where does that leave us?"
Please give this your critical attention and decide if this is the direction you want the world to take.
If you disagree with the monopolies shoving their false foods down our throats, isn't it essential that you make every dollar you spend count?
My list of "Will Not Buy" is growing, it is the only peaceful way I know to change the direction we are headed.
Because everything would be what it isn't.

And what it wouldn't be,
it would. You see?"
